Letter from the President.

 

We at Palmetto Marketing strive to do the best job we possible can do for people who have chosen to subscribe to magazines by using our service. Over the course of the year, we process hundreds of thousands of subscriptions. Like any business, we may make mistakes. Some people's subscriptions "fall through the cracks", while others are inadvertently mishandled temporarily.

We want you to know that you can contact us via telephone, fax or e-mail and we will do out best to respond to your requests within a timely manner. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with our service, we will offer you a prompt refund of your money. Additionally, if you have any unresolved problems, please contact me directly at office@palmettomarketinginc.com.

We would also like to make you aware of a situation which we are having difficulty addressing. There is a company located in the British West Indies which goes by the name of RipOffReports. They run a web site which allows anyone to file an alleged rip off report, stating anything they can think up. They also appear to allow rebuttals from the companies to which the reports are addressed. What they do not inform the consumer is that they charge the companies $20.00 for each rebuttal, beginning with the 5th rebuttal and continuing forever. It may be that they are running a RIP OFF of their own. Please see our Warning! Page.

They have indicated that there are many negative reports concerning our services. However, if you read them carefully, most of the reports are created by people who go on line, read other people's reports and then decide that we may not fulfill our subscription services. This is simply unfounded. We fulfill every single subscription for which we have been paid. Most of the reports are filed from people who don't know if they have a valid complaint, but are willing to just assume they have been ripped off without giving us an opportunity to address their concerns!

We have decided not to try to keep filing so called "rebuttals" because we feel that the $20.00 fee is a questionable practice at best, and at worst is a rip off.
